Simon McBride, one of the most celebrated guitarists to emerge in recent years, announces the release of his new album, Recordings 2020–2025, out March 14 on earMUSIC.
The first single, a fascinating take on Duran Duran’s 1992 hit track, “Ordinary World”, is available now for streaming and download. “This is such a beautiful song,” Simon McBride shares about the single.
“I wanted to try a different feel on it. Like with any version of a song, it’s important to me to be creative but also pay respect to the original.”

2025-02-07 | Danse Macabre: De Luxe Bonus LP
RELEASE DATE: 2025-04-12
LABEL : BMG
FORMAT: LP
DANSE MACABRE: DE LUXE - Bonus LP contains 7 songs previously only available on vinyl via the expansive DANSE MACABRE: DE LUXE box set. Now, those 7 tracks are available on a standalone LP for the first time – and
what better way to celebrate than with a special zoetrope keeping in the theme of the instant-classic Halloween-themed DANSE MACABRE?
3 of these tracks have been released digitally, on CD, and in the box set: an instrumental called “Masque of the Pink Death,” a cover of ELO’s “Evil Woman,” and “New Moon (Dark Phase)” featuring former Duran Duran member
Andy Taylor (which is a reimagined cover of their classic song “New Moon On Monday” from their album Seven and The Ragged Tiger). The other 4 tracks are vinyl exclusives, now available on a standalone LP for the first
time: “Spooky” (a cover of the Classics IV song performed by The Brides of Duracula), “Instructions for a Séance” (a spoken-word track from Nick Rhodes), and “The Visitor” and “Dialogues of
the Dead” (two original instrumentals). This is a can’t-miss piece for Duran Duran fans and completists as well as Halloween enthusiasts.
